Iowa State cornerback Brian Peavy is scheduled to attend the Texans' local prospect day, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
The Westfield graduate played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
He was a Pro Football Focus All-American and a second-team All-Big 12 selection last season.
A team captain, Peavy had 57 tackles, eight pass breakups and three forced fumbles last season despite playing with a torn pectoral.
