Last Sunday the Houston Texans lost an all-time absurd AFC South game to the Tennessee Titans. This week, even without a general manager around, the Texans made one small move to help their terrible run defense. They added defensive tackle Eli Ankou from waivers.
Ankou has received scraps of playing time in the league. The Texans run defense is atrocious from the defensive line, to the secondary. Maybe he’ll see actual playing time this year.
The other bit of news is Gareon Conley’s rehab hasn’t gone well since having offseason arthroscopic ankle surgery.
