The Houston Texans lost two defensive backs to injury in the tilt against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. Kevin Johnson, Houston’s first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, suffered a broken foot after delivering an outstanding performance, and it appears that he’s now headed for injured reserve. Rookie safety K.J. Dillon was placed on injured reserve as well due to a torn ACL that he suffered late in the game.
After the Texans worked out several players yesterday, it is being reported that they have signed safety Don Jones to the active roster as a special teams contributor, and added cornerback Denzel Rice to the practice squad.
