Before ever stepping foot on the practice field for the Houston Texans, rookie receiver Tank Dell had generated excitement among a sizable portion of the team's fan base—especially those with connections to the University of Houston. Dell's new teammates are starting to see what UH football fans were buzzing about the past few years.

Dell, a two-time, first-team All-AAC honoree with the Cougars, was drafted by the Texans in the third round of last month's NFL draft. He received his first taste of the NFL at rookie minicamp earlier this month, and spent the past weekend at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles.
