The only position the Texans have wealth in is offensive tackle. With Laremy Tunsil, Tytus Howard, Marcus Cannon, Charlie Heck, and Roderick Johnson on the roster, the Texans had too many offensive tackles, if that’s possible, it’s a delirium compared to where they were before.
The last two seasons the Texans haven’t been able to run the ball, aside from on some good ole read-pass option manipulation. There isn’t a run scheme they carry out well. Lanes are clogged. Backs don’t break tackles. It’s a mess.
Roderick Johnson has been the only plus run blocker on Houston’s roster.
