With two new players signed to the active roster today, NFL rules mandates that the Texans had to cut somebody to get back to 53 players. Unfortunately for Texans fans, the roster was trimmed in a more damaging fashion.
Once the Texans signed Kourtnei Brown and Brian Peters to their active roster, someone had to go for the team to get back to 53. I assumed it meant the Texans would cut someone. I was wrong. Very wrong.
ILB Mike Mohamed and OLB Carlos Thompson are being placed on IR to make room for OLB Kourtnei Brown and ILB Brian Peters.
