The Houston Texans are set to visit with free agent running back Pierre Thomas who had spent his entire eight year career with the New Orleans Saints. Thomas is possibly the best free agent running back on the market and has minimal wear for a 30 year-old running back, as he spent his whole career in a committee backfield.

Thomas was undrafted out of Illinois in 2007 and has 3,745 yards on 818 carries, good for a 4.6 yard per rush average and 28 touchdowns for his career.
