The Houston Texans have announced that they have placed outside linebacker Duke Ejiofor on the injured/reserve list. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, he is expected to miss the 2019 season after tearing his Achilles during workouts. Ejiofor was selected by the Texans in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft and formed part of Brian Gaine’s first draft as the Texans general manager.
He was an impressive addition late in the draft and was heralded as a talented player that fell late in the draft due to medical concerns during the draft process.
