Houston Texans: Kahale Warring signs rookie deal

Houston Texans tight end Kahale Warring has officially signed his rookie scale contract after being drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Warring was the final player that remained unsigned from the Texans draft class. Despite not having signed his contract until Wednesday afternoon, Warring was part of the Texans offseason activities and worked within the offense as he works his way from the collegiate to professional level.

Coming from San Diego State University, Warring will be competing for playing time in his rookie season after Texans general manager Brian Gaine hit the reset button at the tight end position.
