Houston Texans promising young safety Justin Reid will have surgery to repair his left wrist after injuring late in the regular season. Reid was an unexpected contributor for the Texans in his rookie season, but he proved to belong in the defense early in his first season in the league. He was easily one of the best players in the secondary and created plenty of positive plays for the defense. Reid was first listed before Week 14 with a wrist injury, and he was kept on the injury report for the remainder of the season.
