Houston Texans Injury News: J.J. Watt Could Play Again This Season

A little more than four weeks ago, J.J. Watt tore his pectoral muscle. Watt himself tweeted that he was “[a]bsolutely gutted that I won’t be able to finish the season with my guys and give the fans what they deserve.” The Texans placed him on Injured Reserve. By all accounts, Watt’s 2019 season was over.

This morning, however, Ian Rapoport said that J.J. Watt could be back on the field for your Houston Texans as soon as the regular season finale (Week 17) finale against the Tennessee Titans.
