According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Texans linebacker Benardrick McKinney will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
Losing McKinney is big hit to an already porous run defense. A Pro Bowl caliber player, McKinney had already amassed 37 tackles and a forced fumble through four games before missing yesterday’s win over the Jaguars. Now, Zach Cunningham will have to work with Tyrell Adams as his partner inside for the rest of the season.
