Last week the Texans interviewed Louis Riddick for the Texans general manager job. If you don’t know who Riddick is, he’s a former scout and personnel director for the Eagles, who is now on your television and has never held a general manager role in the NFL. This week the Texans interviewed someone in house for the general manager job, their Director of Pro Player Personnel Matt Bazirgan.
Bazirgan came over with Houston in 2018 when Brian Gaine was hired, the former general manager of the Houston Texans who was surprisingly fired after one season, as a preemptive way to get ahead of a possible down season, and to quench Jack Easterby’s Nick Caserio crush.
