Houston Texans former tight end Ryan Griffin signs with New York Jets

Houston Texans former tight end Ryan Griffin has found a new home after spending the first six seasons in Houston. Drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Griffin was mainly a depth player for the Texans at the tight end position and contributed on special teams. Griffin finished his four-year rookie scale contract with the Texans and re-signed to a three-year deal worth up to $9 million deal.

Texans drafted talented tight end Kahale Warring in the 2019 NFL Draft and his selection meant for the beginning of the end for the veteran tight end.
