Houston Texans: Devon Still signed to futures contract

Last Tuesday the Houston Texans worked out former second round pick, defensive tackle Devon Still. On Wednesday the team signed him to a future’s contract. On a future’s contract, the player can be signed as soon as the regular season ends, however they aren’t officially a member of the team until the new NFL year begins in March.

The former Penn State defensive tackle, who left college just one season before Texans head coach Bill O’Brien became the Nittany Lions coach was originally taken 53rd overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, the only team he has ever played for.
