I don’t know why it happened, but after the draft the Texans decided to move out and move in a number of different front office personnel. My best guess is Houston wanted to keep some continuity and allow the guys who started the journey for this draft to see it to fruition, and then once it was over Brian Gaine cleaned house and brought in his guys.
The Texans, with a new General Manager in Brian Gaine, dismissed assistant general manager Jimmy Raye III, director of college scouting Jon Carr, assistant director of college scouting Mike Martin, college scouting coordinator Matt Jansen and college scout Seth Turner after the draft.
