Altovise "Alto" Gary has resigned as head coach of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders, according to reports.

According to KTRK-TV, a spokesperson with the Texans confirmed the resignation Tuesday afternoon, but gave no other comment.

Gary was recently included in a number of lawsuits by former members of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders who claimed that their low wages and alleged unsafe work conditions amounted to sexual discrimination, the Chronicle previously reported.
