Houston Texans: Building a team from Buffalo Bills castoffs

Since taking over the duties as the general manager of the Houston Texans, Brian Gaine has signed multiple players from the Buffalo Bills. Gaine served as the vice president of player personnel for the Bills the previous season before returning to the Texans for a bigger role in the front office.

During the offseason and preseason, Gaine signed quarterback Joe Webb III, offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, and wide receiver Quan Bray. The only player that didn’t make the cut for the final 53-man roster was Bray.

However, a week into the regular season, with cornerback Kevin Johnson suffering another concussion and Henderson breaking his ankle, it forced the front office to retool the roster again.
