At Sunday's game against the Colts, Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk - the daughter of Bud Adams, who yanked the Oilers out of Houston and relocated them in Tennessee after the 1996 season - will posthumously induct Oilers legendary coach into the Titans' Ring of Honor at Nissan Stadium. Other Houston Oilers greats - including Warren Moon, Dan Pastorini, Robert Brazile, Elvin Bethea, Kenny Houston, Curley Culp and Billy "White Shoes" Johnson - also are expected to be at the game.
To celebrate the occasion, the official Tennessee Titans Twitter account changed their Twitter bio to read "The official tribute account to the Houston Oilers" and made their Twitter avatar the old Oilers logo.
