Georgia Tech long snapper Zach Roberts is scheduled to attend the Texans' local prospect day Saturday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Roberts is attending the Atlanta Falcons' local prospect day Friday.
A transfer who graduated from Lamar and a dean's list student and academic honor roll member who went to Magnolia High School, Roberts (6-0, 231 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.93 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times at his Pro Day workout.
Roberts transferred to Georgia Tech after starting at Lamar for two consecutive seasons.
He was his high school special teams Most Valuable Player as a senior.
