Football is [almost] back. Yes, you read that correctly. The USFL is set to kick off on April 16th, hoping to fill a void that many football fans here in America deal with every year (the NFL offseason). After doing some research, I found four ex-Houston players that were drafted into this “new” league, most of which only had short stints with the team. Even if these names may not be familiar to all, it should help establish a connection for current Texans fans.
It’s worth noting that Houston has their own USFL franchise, the Gamblers, who were a part of the original league in 1984 and 1985.
