Dolphins' GM Chris Grier says Miami isn't trading for Deshaun Watson

Just four months ago, the Texans and Dolphins appeared to be on the verge of a Deshaun Watson trade. Now, the Dolphins are saying it's no longer a possibility.

Speaking to reporters at the NFL Combine on Wednesday, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said "the door is shut on Deshaun."

Before the Nov. 2 trade deadline, it was reported that Miami was Watson's preferred destination, and the Houston Chronicle's John McClain reported that a deal was getting closer. When a trade didn't happen, it was reported that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross insisted Watson settle the 22 civil lawsuits that include allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct before he would make a move to put him in a Dolphins uniform.
