A Brazoria County grand jury declined to file charges against Deshaun Watson on Thursday following a police investigation into an alleged sexual assault during a massage session in Pearland in 2020. The decision comes two weeks after a Harris County grand jury came to the same conclusion regarding nine similar criminal complaints against the former Texans quarterback.
The 10 criminal complaints stemmed from the 22 civil lawsuits accusing Watson of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.
The police report in the Brazoria County case included an allegation that Watson ejaculated on the massage therapist’s arm and hand.
After the Harris County grand jury made its decision, teams started pushing to orchestrate a trade with the Texans to acquire the quarterback, who sat out the entire 2021 season.
