The Texans and Dolphins were reportedly close to a deal two weeks ago, but it hasn't come together yet. The Carolina Panthers also showed some interest last week, but that fell apart quickly, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
"Carolina actually jumped in, they called Houston and tried to talk to Deshaun Watson and Houston said, 'No, you can’t talk to him,'" Glazer said on the Fox pregame show Sunday morning. "Obviously, you want to talk to a guy who’s going through these legal issues. So, it’s back to whether he goes to Miami or not.
