Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones taken to hospital after car crash

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was taken to a hospital after the 79-year-old was involved in a minor car crash Wednesday night in Dallas.

Emergency crews were called to the accident in uptown Dallas near Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf Street at about 8:10 p.m., according to WFAA-TV. Jones’ injuries were minor but he was taken to the hospital to get checked out and was back home later that night.

Stephen Jones, Jerry’s son and the Cowboys’ chief operating officer and executive vice president, told the Dallas Morning News, “He is all good.”

In March, Jones had what the Dallas Morning News called "a minor medical issue" that caused him to miss the NFL Scouting Combine.
