Could another Matthews help fill Texans' center void?

Could there be another Matthews in Houston's football future?

Bruce Matthews sure hopes so.

Matthews, who played 19 years with the Oilers/Tennessee Titans and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, had a recommendation for Texans coach Bill O'Brien on Sunday night.

Matthews and Pittsburgh offensive line coach Mike Munchak, who played 12 seasons for the Oilers and also is a member of the Hall of Fame, are celebrity co-chairmen of the Special Olympics fundraiser and golf tournament.

Spying O'Brien in the audience before he made a speech, Matthews said, "Coach O'Brien, Texas A&M has a great center in the draft.
