CJ Stroud (finally) throws at Texans' camp after battling sore shoulder

After several weeks of early-summer speculation, a vexing question is now answered for the Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud's right shoulder is just fine. Houston's signal caller will be ready to roll when training camp starts next month.

Stroud, who previously took snaps but did not throw during Optional Team Activities (OTAs) because of a sore shoulder, took snaps and threw as usual on Tuesday during the team's second minicamp practice of the week. Stroud was, as expected, Houston's QB1 during morning offensive drills, flanked by backup quarterback Davis Mills and hopeful third-stringer Kedon Slovis.
