J.J. Watt will move from the CBS studio to the broadcast booth in 2025, where he will be the network's No. 2 color commentator alongside longtime play-by-play man Ian Eagle. We now know where the former Houston Texans star will spend his first of 18 Sunday afternoons this fall and winter.
CBS will send six broadcast teams across the country to call games in Week 1, with Watt, Eagle and sideline reporter Evan Washburn set for a Sept. 7 trip to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Meadowlands will be the site of the New York Jets' home matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which, not so coincidentally, features a superstar rematch.
