As Brock Osweiler gets acclimated to his new surroundings in Houston, the Texans' new starting quarterback is continuing to familiarize himself with a complex playbook.
Although there's some carry-over from the football knowledge he absorbed during his four years with the Denver Broncos, Osweiler acknowledged there's still a lot to learn. Especially the terminology.
Offensive coordinator George Godsey has acted as his primary translator.
"It's like you speak Spanish your whole life and then they tell you to go learn French and do it in front of 75,000 people," Osweiler said during the Texans' annual charity golf tournament.
