This evening, Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Houston Texans Bob McNair was honored by the Texas Sports Hall of Fame as the 2018 Lamar Hunt Lifetime Achievement Award winner for his vision, leadership and commitment to the Houston community.
"Everywhere you go, you see Bob and Janice McNair contributing to the community," said chairman of Super Bowl LI Ric Campo. "Not only has he contributed to the cultural aspect and the quality of life to Texans, but he gives back times ten to the community from a philanthropic perspective - and that's even bigger."
Previous winners of this award were Red McCombs, Don Carter, Drayton McLane, Dave Campbell and Rudy Davalos - all individuals that had a tremendous impact on the state of Texas.
