Bills DT, ex-UH star Ed Oliver arrested on DWI, gun charge

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver, a former University of Houston All-American and first-round draft pick, was arrested Saturday night and charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

The former ninth overall draft pick was transported to the Montgomery County jail and is free on bond.

"We are aware of the situation and we are gathering more information," the Bills said in a statement. "We will have no further comment at this point."
