Bill Belichick addresses Texans' pursuit of Patriots' Nick Caserio

When the Texans tried to woo Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio away from New England so he could become the Texans' general manager, they quickly were rebuffed.

The Patriots filed tampering charges and the Texans backed off.

In a press conference Thursday before the Patriots' first training camp practice, Bill Belichick seemed to indicate there are no hard feelings between the teams.

"I think that's all water under the bridge," the Patriots coach said.

However, in typical Belichick fashion, he did grow aggravated with the line of questioning.

The Texans, who plan to go through this season without a general manager, stopped going after Caserio when they were informed that his contract, which expires after the 2020 draft, doesn't allow him to interview for jobs with other NFL teams.
