The New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl and the rest of the NFL lost Sunday.
Not only was most of the country, outside of the New England area and bitter Saints fans, rooting against the Patriots, but the 13-3 final score of Super Bowl LIII made for one of the most uneventful Super Bowls of all-time.
It did break a couple records though. It was the lowest scoring Super Bowl we've ever had and the Rams' Johnny Hekker's 65-yard punt was the longest punt in Super Bowl history. Yoo-freaking-hoo.
Of course, all that bitterness is where the internet thrives, so it was a good game for memes.
