Former Tennessee Titans and University of Texas quarterback Vince Young could be relaunching his football career north of the border.
Young's agent, Leigh Steinberg, in an update on his official Twitter account, wrote that he has opened talks with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
A 33-year-old Houston native, former NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and a two-time Pro Bowl selection, Young hired Steinberg this week to try to jump-start his career.
The Montreal Allouettes had owned the CFL rights to Vince Young through 2015, but Saskatchewan picked up his rights Jan. 30.
