The Apollos improved to 5-0 after a win against the Iron on Saturday afternoon.
Apollos QB Garrett Gilbert continued to strengten his case for league MVP with 286 yards and a pair of touchdowns, one to TE Scott Orndoff and the other to former NFL receiver Charles Johnson.
Meanwhile, Iron QB Luis Perez struggled, throwing a pick-six in the first quarter. He was benched in favor of former Washington Huskies QB Keith Price.
Price threw for 234 yards and a touchdown.
