Last season the Texans traded a fourth round pick for Demaryius Thomas went down to add an outside receiver once Will Fuller V was lost of the season after tearing his ACL against the Miami Dolphins. A fine deal for a competent receiver, who was a much better option than the stale low salt saltines available in the cupboard.
Thomas played in 7 games and caught 23 passes for 237 yards while playing in Houston until his time came to an end at the end of the season. Against Philadelphia he too was injured, and lost for the season, but he tore his Achilles heel.
