The home digs for the Houston Rockets are reportedly set to undergo a major overhaul across the 2025-26 season.
Toyota Center, home of the Rockets since 2003, will replace 17,000 of its seats next season, as first reported by the Houston Business Journal's Chandler France. The current red seats will reportedly be replaced by a "black sports-weave material," changing the arena's color scheme. The Rockets' team-funded project will reportedly cost just north of $10 million, with replacement work expected to begin in October. According to France, the project should be completed by July 2026.
