Why did Jalen Green change his jersey number to No. 4?

So, why did Green opt for the change after his rookie year? The reasoning is pretty simple.

Houston's star guard wore No. 4 throughout his high school and G League career, but he was not able to don his traditional number as a rookie. The No. 4 jersey in Houston was held by former Rockets forward Danuel House, who decided against swapping numbers with Green.

The number has a significance to House, too. House is a native of Houston's Fourth Ward, and he sports an entertainment company called 4DHouse. It's unlikely House was going to give up his number for any player, let alone a rookie.
