Others can argue whether the Rockets’ Jalen Green is first-team All-Rookie material, but he definitely earned votes for best gift on Mother’s Day. The 20-year-old Rockets rookie surprised his mom Bree Purganan with a new Mercedes GLE before their Mother’s Day brunch Sunday.
Green partnered with Vroom, an online car dealership, to make the gift happen, which he posted about on Instagram, where he has more than 2.1 million followers.
“My mom always went the extra mile, driving me to and from basketball practice and tournaments, sometimes sleeping in the car while I played,” Green wrote in the caption of the Instagram video.
