Timberwolves' Derrick Rose poses a threat to Rockets

Derrick Rose has been in and out of the Timberwolves lineup since he signed as a free agent March 8, with his place in the rotation often changing when he has played. But his top game with the Timberwolves was likely the 14 points he scored in 18 minutes against the Rockets in March 18, giving the Rockets an idea that he could be valuable off the Minnesota bench.

"He's a (former) MVP. He can play," Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said. "Athletically, he looks like he's back to almost normal. He gives them another punch we need to be aware of.
