It's easy to forget that the Timberwolves trailed by only a point with just over five minutes to go in Sunday's Game 1 loss.
As James Harden methodically engineered a 44-point game, the Timberwolves held on for dear life, letting their deficit mount before clawing back to give themselves a chance on a missed 3-pointer by Jimmy Butler before the buzzer.
"It's a full court play that we ran and we've run it a lot this year and we've scored a lot on it this year," Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau said of the final play.
"Harden played a terrific game and he made some tough shots but that's what he does," he said.
