The Rockets face the penultimate test of the season, and likely, their penultimate loss in the losingest season in franchise history. It’s some comfort that such seasons are rare, and that this one had a lot of extenuating circumstances with which you are no doubt familiar.
The Rockets will likely end a 72 game season with 56 losses. Let’s hope we have no reason to suffer such a season again soon, and that the “reward” for the Rockets pain will be shortly forthcoming in the form of a 1-1 draft pick. The NBA has done it for other teams that are more intrinsically hapless than the Rockets.
