Rockets guard Russell Westbrook left Toyota Center with his left thumb heavily wrapped after an extensive session getting treatment.

He said a Pelicans player attempted to swipe down on the ball, striking him instead.
“It got hit,” Westbrook said.
He would not answer when asked about the extent of any injury.
Westbrook had 22 points on 9 of 22 shooting against the Pelicans, but just two in the fourth quarter when he attempted three shots.
