Sore knee sidelines Rockets guard Eric Gordon

Related Topics: Houston Rockets, Eric Gordon, ulcer

Rockets guard Eric Gordon was held out of Thursday’s game with a sore right knee, but Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said the issue was just from coming back after sitting out for six weeks following knee surgery.

Gordon had played in four games, including the first game in this week’s back-to-back, averaging 15.3 points on 39.1 percent shooting.

“A little sore coming back,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said. “He was sore (Thursday.) It’s part of his process of getting 100 percent.”
