With the Rockets off on Christmas, forward Sam Dekker used his free time to brighten the holiday of a girl visiting Houston to receive medical treatment.
The second-year pro appeared unannounced in the room of 17-year old Grace Trumpower, who had come to Texas with her mom within the week in search of a specialist to help with her rare arthritic condition.
According to a story in the Sheboygan Press, Trumpower had seen dozens of doctors before she rode 18 hours in a car with her mother, Juliann, to come to Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.
