Russell Westbrook, James Harden power Rockets past Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY – For most of the fourth quarter, the Rockets seemed to be holding on, dribbling and wishing the clock away with an eye on the scoreboard and a shrinking lead.

Finally, James Harden had enough. He had been that way a lot through the night as the Jazz made their runs. He had seen Donovan Mitchell take off as he had in Saturday’s fourth quarter.

When the lead had been reduced to seven, however, Harden no longer worked the clock. He launched with 20 seconds left on the shot clock to drain his sixth 3-pointer of the night.
