Rockets work to shore of one-on-one defense

The Rockets did not believe they lost on Sunday as much because of the final shot, Bojan Bogdanavic’s 29-footer at the buzzer, as the way the Jazz lit them up off the dribble. That will be tested again Tuesday when the Rockets face the Celtics.

The Celtics do not go one-on-one anywhere near as often as the Rockets, but only the Rockets score more points per possession in isolation.

“When you play five out, it makes it very difficult to stay in front of people,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said. “But we can do a better job of shrinking the floor.
