The Rockets have told representatives for guard Andrew Goudelock that they will not be keeping him on the roster past Aug. 1 when his contract would have been guaranteed for next season, a person with knowledge of the conversation said on Thursday.
The individual spoke on the condition of anonymity because the move has not been announced.

Goudelock joined the Rockets late last season after the conclusion of his season in the China Basketball Association. Forward Michael Beasley, who signed a similar contract after the CBA season, will remain on the roster past Aug.
