Rockets sign Khyri Thomas to multi-year contract; waive DaQuan Jeffries

Less than a week ago, Khyri Thomas was a free agent. Now, he’ll be wearing Rockets red for the forseeable future.

According to Alykhan Bijani and Kelly Iko of The Athletic, the team has signed Khyri Thomas to a multi-year extension.

The Houston Rockets are signing guard Khyri Thomas to a multiyear contract, sources tell me and @Rockets_Insider. Houston initially signed Thomas via hardship exception.

Thomas signed a 10-day contract with the hardship exception before last Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks because the team needed one more player to suit up in the game.
