Rockets sideline reporter Cayleigh Griffin announced her engagement to Cleveland State assistant basketball coach Jay Shunnar on Friday.
"Some personal news … I finally received my max contract! It’s a lifetime deal. I cannot wait for this adventure with you @JayShunnar," Griffin tweeted Friday afternoon.
Griffin joined AT&T SportsNet Southwest as the sideline reporter and pregame and postgame host for the Houston Rockets in 2019. She also serves as a fill-in reporter and host on Astros broadcasts. Before coming to Houston, Griffin worked as a host and reporter for Fox Sports Ohio, covering the Cleveland Cavaliers.
